Jon Parks is pastor of Kenbridge Baptist Church in Kenbridge, where he has served since the fall of 2005. Prior to that Jon served as Minister of Music and Associate Pastor at Crosscreek Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, while he completed his MDiv at Beeson Divinity School. He writes an infrequent column in the Kenbridge-Victoria Dispatch, and has published a handful of articles and devotions. A musician at heart, Jon has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music from Samford University, and he still actively writes and composes music. His wife Tanya, also an ordained minister, is a preschool teacher in Blackstone and teaches Kindermusik classes at the church. She is a musician as well, and they perform and lead worship whenever they are able. They have two daughters, Abigail and Kaitlyn.
